Hand wash only with regular soap and water. Do not soak in water or put in dishwasher. Air dry or dry with a clean dish towel. Each heirloom is applied with Bee Good Wood Oil. ( see bottom FAQ for ingredients). As your heirloom is used you should reapply a food safe oil to ensure the longevity of your heirloom. All heirlooms will come with printed care instructions

How are your Heirlooms shipped?

How can I contact the artist?

Please feel welcome to contact the artist with any questions or comments via email at apothecarve@gmail.com

How do you price your heirlooms?

When deciding how to put a price on something, I take many things into consideration. How long did it take me to make this item? Some things take more time than others and reflect that in the price. What kind of wood did I use? Wood pricing varies dramatically. If it’s a more exotic and rare wood, it will also reflect in pricing. I also take into consideration designing, planning, effort into photography, marketing, packaging and handling item. Please keep in mind I am a one woman show. I do everything from start to finish. And as an artist I put my heart and soul into making each piece.

What do you use to finish your heirlooms?

Bee Good Wood Oil.. Is a product of Green River Woods. Made in Asheville. Made with pure local beeswax, superior food grade mineral oil, anti-microbial fragrances and other food safe wood preserving oils.

How is your business sustainable?

I source all of my wood from local companies with sustainable practices. And my cotton fiber for my brooms is sourced from a company that processes their string from recycled clothing from the garment industry.
